With a juggernaut of a voice and talent to match, Alicia Mendez has been a regular around Seattle stages for awhile now. Some of her favorite roles include the title role in Evita, Ti Moune in Once On This Island and Little Sally in Urinetown. She prefers character roles over ingenues and proved that with her performance as Frou Blucher in Young Frankenstein. Alicia directs more often than she performs, however, and was awarded Broadway World’s Best Director award in 2014 for her production of The Plowman. You can catch her directorial work this fall. She is slated to direct [Title of Show] for SecondStory Rep.
EmilyRose is ecstatic to be kicking off the summer and singing with some stellar humans!
Favorite roles include: Jo March in Little Women the Broadway Musical, Tribe in Hair, Cheryl in Evil Dead the Musical (ArtsWest), Margaret in Are you there God? It's Me, Karen Carpenter (STAGEright) and as Denise Savage in Savage in Limbo, Cathy in The Last Five Years (Lion Fish Productions), amongst other things.
When EmilyRose isn't on stage, you can find her running, spending time with her fearless toddler, snuggling with her Yorkie pups, eating pie with her husband, and constructing an epic meat and cheese platter.
Thank you to Isaiah and Kim for all of the support and energy. Love and endless gratitude to the family, the friends, and the puppies. Remember, we can't do what we do without YOU! Thank you for supporting the arts.

Alex is delighted to be making her debut with Theater TBD and to be sharing the stage with such an incredibly talented group of women. After attaining her BFA in Musical Theater from CWU in 2011, Alex moved to Seattle and went on to work with a variety of theaters and artists in the area. Favorite projects include RENT! (Mimi, Second Story Theater), Hair (Tribe, Arts West Playhouse) and Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey, Bainbridge Island Performing Arts). Most recently she performed as the understudy for Olive in Western Washington Center for the Arts’s production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. She would like to thank her sassy cast and crew for allowing her to play and create with them and also all of YOU who came to support local artists! Without you, this would just be another rehearsal. Enjoy the show!
